SURJ Santa Cruz County urges you to contact your California State Representatives as soon as possible to voice support for Senate Bill 1004 which will amend Senate Bill 627, the No Mask Law that would make it a crime for any law enforcement officer to wear facial coverings in the performance of their duties, except as specified, and will allow that law to be enforced.
Contact your California State Representatives to urge a “yes” vote on SB 1004 to prevent law enforcement officers from hiding their identity and allow them to be held accountable if they break California of Federal laws. Submit your comments by August 2 if possible and no later than August 30.
